Tennis Tactics Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This Privacy Policy for Can Ayan ("we," "us," or "our") explains how we handle personal information in connection with our mobile application Tennis Tactics (the "App").
We are established in Dublin, Republic of Ireland. Where we act as a data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018, our lead supervisory authority is the Irish Data Protection Commission.

SUMMARY
Tennis Tactics collects nothing about you.
There is no account and no sign-up. The App makes no network requests of its own — the whole course ships inside the App, so it works with the phone in aeroplane mode. There are no analytics, no crash-reporting services, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. Nothing you do in the App is transmitted to us, because there is nowhere for it to go.
Your progress — which lessons you have finished, your XP, your day streak, your answers to the two onboarding questions, and whether you have muted the sound — is written to your own device and stays there. We never see it.
The only third party involved is Apple, and only if you choose to buy a subscription: Apple processes the purchase, and the App asks Apple whether a subscription is active. We receive no payment details and no identifier for you.
Our App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected." This policy explains that in full.

1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
In short: None.
We do not collect, receive, store, or process any personal information about you through the App. Specifically, we do not collect:
- your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials — the App has no accounts and no sign-in;
- your progress, answers, streak, or any other usage data;
- your device identifiers, advertising identifier (IDFA), or IP address;
- your location, contacts, calendar, photos, camera, microphone, or health data;
- your payment card or any payment instrument.
The App contains no third-party SDKs — no analytics library, no crash reporter, no advertising or attribution framework, no social login. It links only against Apple's own frameworks: SwiftUI, UIKit, Foundation, AVFoundation (to play the App's own bundled sound effects) and StoreKit (for the subscription).
The App also makes no network requests of its own. The entire course — every lesson, every court diagram, every sound — is bundled inside the download. You can verify this yourself: turn on Aeroplane Mode and the App works exactly as before, apart from purchasing.
2. WHAT DOES THE APP STORE ON YOUR DEVICE?
In short: Your progress, on your phone, in the App's own private storage.
The App keeps the following in UserDefaults, the standard private storage iOS gives every app:
- which lessons you have completed, and which you answered correctly first time;
- your XP total, your day streak and your best day streak;
- whether you have used today's free lesson;
- your answers to the two onboarding questions (your goal, and how much you have played) — these are stored only so the App can adjust the wording it shows you next;
- whether you have turned sound effects off.
This data is part of your app's sandbox. It is included in your device backups if you have iCloud Backup or encrypted local backups enabled, under Apple's terms. It is not synced to us and there is no server to sync it to.
You can erase all of it at any time, without contacting anyone: open the You tab and choose Reset progress. Deleting the App from your device also removes it.
3. HOW DO WE USE IT, AND HOW LONG DO WE KEEP IT?
In short: We do not use it, and we do not keep it, because we never receive it.
There is no "purposes of processing" table in this policy for the same reason there is no data-collection table: nothing reaches us. We do not analyse your progress, we do not profile you, we do not train anything on you, and we have no database in which your data could be retained or deleted.
The data described in Section 2 lives on your device for as long as you keep the App installed, and disappears the moment you choose You → Reset progress or delete the App. You control its lifetime entirely; we cannot see it, extend it, or shorten it.
The one exception is correspondence you send us, covered in Section 6.
4. APPLE'S ROLE
In short: Apple sells you the subscription. We are not told who you are.
Tennis Tactics offers an optional auto-renewing subscription. If you buy one:
- Apple processes the transaction through your Apple Account, under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. We never see your payment details, your Apple Account email, or any identifier that would let us recognise you.
- The App uses StoreKit, Apple's framework, to ask Apple whether a subscription is currently active on this device. That check happens between your device and Apple. Its answer is a yes or no, held in memory on your phone.
- If you tap Restore purchases, StoreKit asks Apple to re-check the same thing.
Separately, the App may occasionally show Apple's standard "rate this app" prompt after a milestone. That prompt is presented and handled entirely by Apple (SKStoreReviewController); we do not learn whether you saw it, dismissed it, or what you rated.
For all of the above, Apple is an independent controller of its own data. See Apple's privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
5. WHAT WE DELIBERATELY DO NOT DO
We do not:
- show advertising, or embed any advertising or attribution SDK;
- track you across apps or websites, or request App Tracking Transparency permission (we have nothing to track you with);
- build a profile of you, or make automated decisions about you;
- sell, rent, or share personal data — we hold none to sell;
- send push notifications, or ask for notification permission;
- request access to your camera, microphone, photo library, location, contacts, or health data.
6. IF YOU CONTACT US
If you email us for support, we necessarily receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you, and we keep the correspondence no longer than needed to resolve your question and keep a record of it. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
7. CHILDREN
Tennis Tactics is a beginner's tennis course, and beginners include children. Because the App collects no personal data at all, using it does not create a children's-privacy issue: there is nothing to collect, no profile to build, and no way for us to contact a user.
Purchases are a separate matter and are controlled by Apple. A subscription should only be bought by someone able to enter a contract, or by a parent or guardian. Apple's Family Sharing and Ask to Buy settings control this on the device.
If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information to us — for example by emailing us — contact info@kalibrefin.com and we will delete it.
8. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
If you are in the EEA or the UK, the GDPR and UK GDPR give you rights over your personal data: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability.
We hold no personal data about App users, so in practice there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export, or delete. The data the App creates lives on your device and is under your control: You → Reset progress, or delete the App.
If you have emailed us (Section 6), you may exercise any of these rights over that correspondence by writing to info@kalibrefin.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Lodging a complaint
If you believe we have handled personal data unlawfully, you may complain to a data protection authority:
- Our lead supervisory authority is the Irish Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28, Ireland — https://www.dataprotection.ie
- If you live elsewhere in the EU/EEA, you may contact your national authority.
- If you live in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office — https://ico.org.uk
9. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) gives you rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
We do not collect personal information from App users, and we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We do not use personal information for targeted advertising or for profiling. You will never be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.
To make a request about any correspondence you have sent us, email info@kalibrefin.com.
10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
We do not transfer your personal data anywhere, because we do not collect any. Apple processes subscription transactions on its own infrastructure under its own terms; see Apple's privacy policy.
11. SECURITY
The best security measure available is not to hold data in the first place, and that is the one we have taken. Your progress never leaves your device, so it is protected by iOS's own app sandboxing and by your device passcode and encryption.
Email you send us is protected by our provider's transport security. No method of electronic transmission is ever completely secure.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We will update this policy if the App changes in a way that affects it — for example, if a future version ever adds a feature that talks to a server. The "Last updated" date at the top will change, and if the change is material we will say so in the App before it takes effect.
